Our Capital team successful with Interserve on P21 bid in Dover to build community hospital
Niche Health and Social Care Consultants have been engaged as Healthcare Planners for the Interserve Project Team which has recently been appointed for the development of a new Community Hospital in Dover.
The team were successful in securing the £20million P21 Community Hospital development which will include a range of Community based services including:
• Minor Injuries Unit
• Out Patients Department
• Diagnostics Unit
• Physiotherapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Day Hospital
• Maternity Unit including Inpatient beds
• Procedures Unit including Endoscopy
• Renal Dialysis Unit
• Paediatric Assessment Unit
• Mobile MRI/CT
• Medical Records
• Trust Administration Accommodation
The development will enable East Kent Hospital NHS Trust to implement its strategy to remodel services and improve facilities for people in Dover, delivering care closer to home. This model aligns with the national direction reflected in High Quality Care for all – The Next Stage Review (June 2008) and regionally in Healthier People, Excellent Care. A Vision for South East Coast (June 2008).
